Winterflood Securities is an international capital markets firm based in London, covering more UK stocks as a market maker than any other firm. A core part of their offering is Winterflood Investment Trusts, a full-service listed-fund team, covering the entire UK listed closed-ended funds sector and with the strength and depth to provide trading, sales, research and corporate advice.

Traditionally, they host two events a year for their members that feature several leading investment managers who outline their thoughts on the prospects for their respective asset classes. Winterflood approached Asset TV to gain advice on how they could host their October 2020 conference virtually.

How we supported Winterflood:

We liaised with Winterflood and formulated a plan to bring their traditional conference format into the digital world. We remotely pre-recorded 5 portfolio managers, from leading investment trust providers, and used the content as presentations for the conference.

These were filmed as close to the date of the conference as possible to ensure the content was up to date. Each of the 5 presentations was followed by a live Q&A with the respective portfolio managers where the audience could interact and ask questions.

Winterflood were so pleased with the results that they’ve commissioned Asset TV to run their next conference in January 2021.
